Aroostook Savings & Loan is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our expanding Loan Department. In this position, you will act as a liaison between applicants and our financial institution, helping qualified applicants obtain loans and set up payment terms. Your duties will include meeting with applicants, preparing loan proposals, and examining active loans.
Qualifications: Successful applicants for this position include: customer service-oriented, exceptional sales skills, in-depth knowledge of computers, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office software is essential. High school diploma is required with 2+ years higher education preferred.

Aroostook Savings & Loan is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and dynamic leader to lead our lenders and join our executive team as Vice President of Lending. The VP of Lending is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of the Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial Lending Departments, including direct and indirect lending.
The successful candidate will also collaborate with the VP of Operations and the President/CEO to develop and execute a business plan for all loan origination while providing strategic focus, expertise, and guidance.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a proven track record supervising, coaching, and motivating others to achieve goals in a financial services environment. Candidates must also demonstrate extraordinary initiative and a passion for servicing consumers’ needs within a positive, people-focused culture. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are a must, along with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and confidentially in a professional manner. Experience with lending and collections required. Bachelors’ degree and 3-5 years of progressive experience in banking leadership and lending required.
