Celebrating Aroostook County’s Agricultural Heritage
The Maine Potato Blossom Festival, held July 11-19, 2026, is one of Aroostook County’s premier summertime traditions. For generations, the Festival has celebrated our region’s rich agricultural heritage, honored our veterans, and brought families, friends, businesses, and visitors together for a week of community pride and fun.
From live music and delicious food to family activities, competitions, fireworks, and the annual parade, the Festival offers something for everyone while showcasing the spirit that makes Aroostook County such a special place to live, work, and visit.

Maine Potato Blossom Festival Parade
Saturday, July 18, 2026 • Parade Begins at 1:15 PM
Be sure to watch for the Aroostook Savings & Loan 90th Anniversary float and catch some candy! We’ll be celebrating 90 years of serving Aroostook County and look forward to sharing the excitement with parade-goers of all ages. Bring your lawn chairs, gather with family and friends, and enjoy one of Northern Maine’s favorite summer traditions.
The annual parade is a spectacular procession and is one of the highlights of the nine-day festival and celebrates Aroostook County’s rich agricultural heritage, community spirit, and local traditions.
The parade traditionally begins at the top of Presque Isle Street near Fort Fairfield High School, travels north along Main Street, and concludes near Forrest Avenue.

Don’t Miss the Huge Fireworks Show Over the Aroostook River!
As part of our 90th Anniversary celebration, Aroostook Savings & Loan is proud to serve as the Premier Sponsor of the Maine Potato Blossom Festival Fireworks Show and the Main Stage Performance by French Toast. These sponsorships are our way of thanking the people, families, businesses, and communities of Aroostook County for their trust and support over the past 90 years.
Cap off your Maine Potato Blossom Festival experience with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk on Sunday, July 19, 2026, lighting up the skies over the Aroostook River.
Before the fireworks, bring your folding camp chairs and enjoy an evening of live music entertainment from French Toast, performing on the Main Stage in the Village Square Parking Lot in Fort Fairfield from 6-9 PM, proudly sponsored by Aroostook Savings & Loan.
Join us as we celebrate 90 years of helping friends and neighbors throughout Aroostook County. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer evening with family and friends while enjoying one of Northern Maine’s favorite summer traditions.
