Message from the President
Dear Valued Members,
As we move through 2026, we look ahead to a meaningful milestone — 90 years of serving our friends and neighbors across Aroostook County this July. Since 1936, your trust and support have been the foundation of our success. On behalf of our Board, management, and staff, thank you for being part of our story.
To mark this special year, we’re proud to offer a 36-month Certificate of Deposit earning 3.90% APY*—a guaranteed rate from a bank that has remained committed to this community for nearly a century. Visit yourhomebank.com or stop by a branch to learn more.
We look forward to celebrating with you throughout the year. This summer, please save the date for our Customer & Community Appreciation Days featuring a complimentary BBQ lunch—Tuesday, July 21 in Presque Isle and Wednesday, July 22 in Caribou from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to celebrate with us. We hope you’ll join us for this special occasion. Additional details will be shared in our July newsletter and on Facebook.
We’re also pleased to recognize several team updates. Nicole Ambrose has been promoted to Accounting Supervisor, where she will support staff development and financial reporting. Mandy DeWitt has been promoted to Loan Operations Manager and will lead our loan operations team while continuing to guide our loan technology upgrades to better serve you. We also welcome Lauren Bohovich, who has joined us as a Loan Processor in our Operations Center. These changes reflect the strength of our team and our continued investment in serving you.
Our commitment remains the same—providing personalized, local service you can count on. Whether you’re buying or building a home, financing a vehicle or equipment, or growing a business, our lending team is here to help. Because our loans stay local and are never sold, you can feel confident knowing your financial decisions support your community.
We are also proud to support the upcoming 8th annual Operation Hunger Telethon on Thursday, April 9, helping provide food for families across Aroostook County. We encourage you to join us in supporting this important cause. Together, we are making a difference!
Thank you for choosing Aroostook Savings & Loan as Your Home Bank. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you and continuing to serve you for years to come.
Sincerely,
Curt D. Paterson, President & CEO
