  1. Open Your New Account
    Visit one of our convenient branches in Caribou or Presque Isle and open your Aroostook Savings & Loan account. While you’re here, ask about our online and mobile banking services, Bill Pay, and ATM/Visa Check Card options. If you’re 55 or older, your first check order is free.
  2. Redirect Your Direct Deposits
    Inform your employer or other income sources to update their records with your new account and routing number (211273794). Use the Direct Deposit Authorization Form included in the Switch Kit to notify them of the change.
  3. Update Automatic Payments
    Notify all businesses and services with automatic payments (utilities, subscriptions, etc.) to debit your new account. The Automatic Withdrawal/Deposit Switch Form makes this easy.
  4. Close Your Old Account
    Once all transactions have cleared, complete the Account Closing Form to notify your previous bank to close your account and transfer the remaining balance to Aroostook Savings & Loan.
